BIO - ALEXIS WAGNER

 

ALEXIS IS SECRETARY (ENGLISH) AT THE AUSTRALIA CHINA CHAMBER OF CEO

 

Alexis Wagner is activity involved in promoting Sino-Australia relations through a variety of roles within the education sector. Alexis has recently been appointed as the the Business Development Manager at Australasia Business Liaison Pty Ltd and as the Co-State Manager for the Engaging China Project. Alexis promotes Australia’s engagement with China through establishing sister school relationships, internships and employment opportunities for Chinese international students, cultural diplomacy and community education programs. Alexis is well connected within the local Australia-Chinese community and is activity involved in local university, educational, business, cultural, charity and business groups. Alexis has been traveling regularly to Shanghai from 2005 and lived in Shanghai for two years from 2008. 

Alexis completed an undergraduate degree in Asian and International Studies at Griffith University and is now completing post graduate studies in Education. She has also completed her Teaching English as a Second Language qualification and completed a Business Administration Traineeship. 

Through Alexis’s role as Secretary at the Australia-China Chamber of CEO’s she hopes to further strengthen Sino-Australia relations in regards to education in North-East China.
